Books into Movies in 2013

Reblogged from New Books and More:

2013 will be full of new books, new great releases, series continuations and new born bestsellers - that's easy to foresee. But it's also great time to reming yourself about books published some time age and will get second premiere as a book adaptations. Here are five books that probably will be higly aticipated movie versions and gain reading boost in pre-watching mood. Ready?

On February, as it's responsible for sweet and lovely atmosphere (Valentine's Day, you know), will be relesed Nicholas Sparks' Safe Haven. The story of a woman dealing with her past and finding love will surely satisfy any couple with butterflies in their bellies ;-)

The are set two movie releases for March. The first one will be a remake of already done adaptation, namely a next interpretations of Stephen King's Carrie  I saw the trailer and it gave me real shivers!

Another March book to movie is Stephenie Meyer's The Host. So there's a chance for Twilight fans not to cry in despair because of the end of vampire series. The Host definitely isn't a continuation but at least it is a book of the same author so you know what to expect.

Two more books don't have a release date but seems to be doing good looking at the cast. Kate Winslet will be on the The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by  Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows adaptation.

And in the story of serial killer by Erik Larson The Devil in the White City Leonadro DiCaprio agreed to play the devil, HH Holmes.

This book to movie set convinced me that it's worth re-reading or discovering books published some years ago.
